The Sciton Halo is the worlds first hybrid fractional laser that delivers both ablative and non-ablative results. Dual wavelengths allow more intense wavelengths to target deeper layers, while non-ablative wavelengths treat the surface, leading to minimal downtime. This duality lets patients determine the intensity of their treatment session, as well as the post-treatment recovery time that best suits their schedules. The dual laser options capable with Sciton® Halo™ capitalise on modern technology, so even the more intense sessions have a healing window that can last mere days. Best results are achieved on the face, neck, chest, arms and hands.
What can be treated?
The Sciton Halo can be used to treat the following concerns:
- Skin discolouration
- Sun damage
- Skin tone and texture
- Large pores
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Acne scars
The Treatment Process
Each session begins with the application of a topical numbing cream to minimise any potential discomfort.
The aesthetician will take images of the face using the Vectra 3D imaging system. This allows an accurate assessment of the damage enabling us to plan the optimum treatment to get the best results. We adjust the laser to produce the right type of treatment for your skin.
The treatment usually lasts around 30 minutes. You will receive post-treatment instructions from the aesthetician but generally you can apply cosmetics once 24 hours have passed.
- Noticeable improvement within weeks
- It addresses visible and deeper signs of ageing
- More comfortable than traditional fractional resurfacing
- Fast healing allows for makeup application 24 hours after treatment
- Minimal downtime
- Treatments are versatile
- Can treat a wide variety of skin issues including tougher conditions like scar revision, enlarged pores, and pigmented lesions.
Downtime is typically very minimal, and many patients are able to continue with their usual daily routine. You may need to take extra care with your skin following the treatment and any flaking of the skin should be minimal and hard to notice. An aftercare information pack will be provided post treatment which will provide all post care information and instructions.
